Federal prosecutors announced late Wednesday that a man with a civil matter pending before a New Jersey federal judge was arrested and charged with threatening to murder the judge.
Johnathan D. Williams, 46, of Newark, New Jersey, is charged with threatening to assault and murder a U.S. judge after allegedly calling the judge’s chambers seeking an immediate court date in order to obtain a settlement.
