A father and son who practiced law together have been disciplined after representing both the buyer and seller in a deal to sell a country inn.

The New Jersey Supreme Court imposed a three-month suspension on Morristown attorney Stephen Gilbert and gave an admonition to his son, Aaron Gilbert. The case stems from a failed, $1.65 million deal in 2011 to sell The Bird & Bottle Inn, a historic bed and breakfast in Garrison, New York.
