A New Jersey municipal court judge has been hit with a disciplinary complaint for failure to comply with attorney trust account regulations.

Cecelia Sardina Guzman presided over court sessions in Paterson and Dover for almost a year while she was on a list of lawyers ineligible to practice law for failure to have an approved attorney trust account, the Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct said in a complaint issued Tuesday. Guzman faces discipline for presiding while ineligible to practice and for failing to maintain professional liability insurance.
