Fifty state attorneys general, including New Jersey’s, announced Monday morning that they had reached an $86.3 million-valued settlement with Dallas, Texas-based Nationstar Mortgage to resolve allegations the company violated numerous consumer protection laws.
The accord implicates 2,075 borrowers in New Jersey who are to get relief valued at approximately $3.45 million, according to New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal’s Office.
