Forty-eight attorneys general, including Gurbir Grewal, have announced a national debt-relief settlement worth $330 million for former students of ITT Technical Institute, including more than $1.8 million payable to New Jersey students.

In the 93-page agreement, the states maintained that financial aid officers and other ITT Tech officials used reckless and deceptive practices to pressure students at the failed for-profit college into predatory loans that many could never repay.
