Incremental growth in gross revenue isn’t necessarily enough to keep up with the field in the Am Law 200. That’s a notion illustrated by some firms in this year’s “second hundred” ranking, including New Jersey-based ones.

The contingent of New Jersey homegrown firms on the board remains unchanged. Lowenstein Sandler; McCarter & English; McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter; Gibbons and 2018 newcomer Cole Schotz again made the list, ranked by firmwide gross revenue in fiscal 2018.
