CONVINCED that a federal informant lied to save his own skin, Brooklyn pornographer Teddy Rothstein fought back by taking the unusual step of hauling the informant into court for malicious prosecution.
In an Eastern District trial before Judge Nina Gershon that has pitted two veteran distributors of adult material against one another, Mr. Rothstein charged that Mark Carrier was trying to stay out of prison when he lied to federal prosecutors that Mr. Rothstein ran “Bizarre Video” as part of his Jay Street-based empire.
