Beginning July 1, judges presiding over New York state Commercial Division proceedings will be able to decree how much time they will grant parties to present their cases.
Commercial Division rules currently contain a provision requiring parties, within 10 days of the scheduled start of a trial, to provide a “realistic estimate” of how long it will take to present their cases.
