More than three years after Judge Jenny Rivera exchanged a tenured professorship at the City University of New York School of Law for a seat on the state Court of Appeals, she has been able this summer to use her teaching skills again.
And she said she is glad to have returned to the classroom for an effort that both challenges and nurtures future attorneys.
