A federal judge has allowed a probation officer’s age discrimination suit against Rensselaer County to go forward and rejected the county’s bid to have the plaintiff’s counsel disqualified.
The county had asked Northern District Judge Gary Sharpe to remove Gerard Wierzbicki’s counsel, AJ Bosman of Rome, because of an alleged conflict of interest. Bosman represents a couple suing the county for employment discrimination.
