The trial of three former executives of the now-defunct Dewey & LeBoeuf moved at a faster pace Thursday with three witnesses taking the stand before a 1 p.m. lunch break.

The first was the assistant to former Dewey & LeBoeuf corporate partner John Altorelli, who has been portrayed as an outspoken rainmaker for the firm by previous witnesses. Altorelli now co-chairs the U.S. finance group at DLA Piper.
