A Long Island attorney convicted of pilfering a client’s escrow funds and forging bogus civil judgments has been disbarred by the Appellate Division, Second Department.

Matthew Kogan, 40, pleaded guilty to third-degree grand larceny in July 2014 in connection with his misappropriation of $32,000 in client funds. Kogan repaid the money, but three months later was arrested for possession of forged instruments.
