For the second time in three years, former Goldman Sachs & Co. computer programmer Sergey Aleynikov has had a conviction overturned for his alleged theft of Goldman’s propriety high-frequency trading code.
Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Daniel Conviser overturned Aleynikov’s latest conviction on Monday, finding that there wasn’t enough evidence to back a jury’s April guilty verdict on a single count of unlawfully using scientific material.
