After the U.S. Supreme Court’s reversal of a Pennsylvania man’s conviction for making online threats against his estranged wife, a blogger convicted of threatening federal judges says his case should be thrown out as well.

Harold Turner moved to vacate his conviction on June 30, arguing that instructions given to the jury in his case on the “reasonable person” standard were “indistinguishable” from the instructions faulted by the high court last month in Elonis v. United States, No. 13-983.
