Two former partners who testified at the Dewey & LeBoeuf criminal trial Wednesday said they were shocked to learn that almost none of their 2009 income was reported as such on their firm-prepared 2010 tax forms.

Instead, Dewey reported to the IRS that it had distributed the capital it owed Deirdre Johnson, who left Dewey for Crowell & Moring in 2009 and Fred Reinke, who left for Mayer Brown in 2009, when in fact the capital had not been repaid.
