A Manhattan attorney who responded to a disciplinary committee inquiry by inviting the committee to disbar her, was disbarred Thursday.
The Appellate Division, First Department, disbarred Gwen Snorteland, after having sua sponte suspended her in June when she refused to respond to allegations in a 2012 cease and desist order issued against her by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
