Madeline Singas, chief assistant in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, has been sworn in as the county’s top prosecutor.
Singas, 48, took the oath Tuesday as acting district attorney, the same day that Kathleen Rice, the outgoing district attorney, was sworn in to the U.S. House of Representatives.
