The law firm defendant in a malpractice action, Lacher & Lovell-Taylor, is appealing an Oct. 28 ruling by Acting Supreme Court Justice Lawrence Marks (See Profile) denying the firm’s request to recuse himself from the case.
The notice of appeal was filed hours after the ruling, on the same day that jury selection began.
