The Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center has received $600,000 to continue providing legal assistance to victims of Hurricane Sandy, the law school announced. The money will allow the school to continue its disaster relief clinic for two more years.

The clinic, which opened in January, has one full-time lawyer. It now will hire two additional full-time attorneys and one part-timer. Going forward, the focus of the clinic’s efforts will be largely on litigation rather than advocacy and negotiation.
