The Office of the Appellate Defender will hold its 20th Anniversary First Monday in October fundraising event on Oct. 7 at the New York University School of Law’s Vanderbilt Hall at 40 Washington Square South. Matrimonial attorney Myrna Felder and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett partner Roy Reardon will cochair the event.
The Gould Award for legal advocates will be presented to Barry Scheck, codirector of the Innocence Project and partner at Neufeld, Scheck & Brustin, and Paul Shechtman, a partner at Zuckerman Spaeder.
