Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes, who is seeking a seventh term, and challenger Kenneth Thompson have nearly equal war chests to finance the last month of their hard-fought primary, according to the latest round of campaign filings.

The campaign finance disclosure reports released Friday showed Hynes had about $544,500 on hand while Thompson, of Thompson Wigdor, had about $517,500 to reach potential voters in the Sept. 10 Democratic primary.
