A contentious four-year-old lawsuit in which an internationally acclaimed art dealer and her former business partners lobbed accusations of fraud, theft and breach of contract claims against each other was considerably pared down after a judge dismissed most of the sides' motions for summary judgment and ordered the parties into mediation.

The July 29 decision by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich (See Profile) in Luba Mosionzhnik v. Ezra Chowaiki, 650434-2009, involves the operation of the Chowaiki Mosionzhnik Gallery (whose name later changed to Chowaiki & Co. Fine Art Ltd.).
