A Brooklyn appellate court disbarred two attorneys, with one failing to respond to proceedings and another resigning. The Appellate Division, Second Department disbarred Timothy F. Daly, of Rockville Centre, and Fitzpatrick Neil St. Hill Dodson in two separate July 24 orders.

Dodson offered his resignation, acknowledging he could not successfully defend himself against 11 charges of professional misconduct. The charges included improper commingling of client and personal funds, failure to maintain records, engaging in self-dealing and fraud, and the failure to safeguard funds entrusted to him as a fiduciary. Dodson, who was admitted to the bar in 1995, said in January he would immediately stop taking new cases and wind down his practice.
