Veteran prosecutor Robert Biancavilla was in court last month as a Suffolk County judge sentenced two men to life in prison for a triple homicide in Central Islip. Biancavilla was quoted in a news report as saying, "This is probably one of the most horrific crime scenes I've come across."
The next evening, however, Biancavilla could be found at an entirely different and more tranquil work scene—preparing dough for pastries he makes at the Duck Island Bread Co. in Northport, a business he started in 2012.
