ALBANY – A restaurant worker who was blinded in one eye when he was splashed with lye-based drain cleaner will ask the state Court of Appeals to reinstate his claim that the product was defectively designed during the judges’ March session beginning Monday.

The Court will also hear arguments about the correct statute of limitations standard to apply in a suit arising from a Long Island school finance scandal and the latest in a lengthening string of litigation seeking more clarification on when terms of post-release supervision can be imposed on offenders.
