A woman accused by her stepchildren of improperly influencing their father to change his life insurance policy and name her as the sole beneficiary shortly before their marriage and his terminal cancer diagnosis has beaten back a challenge in the courts.

Southern District Magistrate Judge James C. Francis IV ruled in favor of the widow of Bruce W. Bradway, Felecia Bradway, who allegedly used “undue influence” to be named the beneficiary of a $300,000 life insurance policy.
