Also, following an extensive renewal in July, Genzyme Corp. has expanded its headquarters space at 521-33 W. 57th St. by 14,000 square feet.

Broadpoint Gleacher Securities Group has signed a lease for 74,000 square feet at 1290 Avenue of the Americas, 7,000 more square feet than it now occupies at three Manhattan locations.
The publicly traded investment bank will vacate offices at 12 E. 49th St., 660 Madison Ave. and One Penn Plaza. Cushman & Wakefield broker Matthew Astrachan, who served for Broadpoint, said the company plans to market its 49th Street space for sublease.
