Prosecutors on Friday accused Donald Trump of violating a recently imposed gag order ahead of his New York criminal trial, citing a series of statements made by the former president on social media about the presiding judge’s daughter.

Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan issued a limited gag order on Tuesday, which bars Trump from speaking publicly about witnesses, court staff, and other individuals. The order also precludes Trump from commenting on the family members of court staff or prosecutors.
