Hospitals, nursing homes, medical schools and other healthcare and residential care providers, along with physician practice groups will need counsel on the implementation of New York’s latest version of the bill, said attorney Mary Beth Quaranta Morrissey.

Morrissey chaired a New York State Bar Association task force that conducted a six-month “balanced and thorough evidence-based process of inquiry” into The Medical Aid in Dying bill, A995A/S2445A.
