What are some of your proudest achievements from the past year? I am proud of having achieved notable victories on behalf of major clients as well as having grown the business in a way that positions my team for even greater future success.

On the client side, few problems challenge a condominium board’s collective resolve more than a billionaire owner with an untenable renovation in mind. This year, the board of an iconic luxury condominium found itself in just such a predicament—except the billionaire in question actually undertook a non-approved retrofit by adding a massive outdoor pergola that marred the building’s architecturally significant exterior. I negotiated a high-stakes tri-party settlement on behalf of the board through which the retrofit was removed at no cost to the board, and the original architecture firm agreed to redesign the outdoor space with an aesthetically suitable pergola. This settlement kept a potentially sensational dispute out of court and out of the public eye.
