New York’s interim judicial leadership unveiled a blue-ribbon committee on Monday that will be charged with implementing recommendations that will build on pandemic-related innovations brought forth by the court system.

The Court Modernization Action Committee is chaired by state Supreme Court Justice Craig Doran of the Seventh Judicial District, and composed of leaders of the court system and the bar, community members, court users and justice partners, according to a joint statement by Acting Chief Judge Anthony Cannataro and Acting Chief Administrative Judge Tamiko Amaker.
