Desirée Kim is returning to New York courts to oversee administrative functions related to choosing judges and hearing officers, system officials announced on Wednesday.

Kim’s new post, which takes effect on Thursday, is Special Counsel for Appointments and Unified Court System Advisory Groups, Chief Administrative Judge Joseph A. Zayas and First Deputy Chief Administrative Judge Norman St. George announced jointly.
