New York Attorney General Letitia James told retail pharmacy giants CVS and Walgreens that they may not refuse to distribute reproductive health products in the state.

Letters signed by Jason L. Meizlish, assistant attorney general in the bureau of consumer frauds and protection, and Nancy M. Trasande, assistant attorney general in the bureau of civil rights, were mailed to Illinois-based Walgreens and CVS of Rhode Island on Monday, James’ office said.
