New York’s Unified Court System on Wednesday said it will lift its facemask requirement starting Thursday for courthouse visitors, lawyers, judges and staff who can prove they were vaccinated.
It’s a return to the system’s summer 2021 model.
Equally important for purposes of the court's return to full operations, the three-foot physical distancing requirement has been lifted, and is no longer required in any area or for any operation within a UCS facility.
