Marshall Miller, a partner at Kaplan Hecker & Fink and former federal prosecutor, has been selected to serve in a senior role in the deputy attorney general’s office at the U.S. Justice Department, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Miller will take over this summer as principal associate deputy attorney general, a role in which he is expected to be involved in the department’s cybersecurity, national security and white-collar enforcement efforts. Miller will be the top adviser to Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco.
