In New York’s latest political gerrymandering case, arguments in a Manhattan trial court about whether the Assembly map should be thrown out hinged on allegations of backdoor political dealing, along with a claim that the lawsuit was filed to settle a trio of personal “beefs.”
Republican Gavin Wax and Democrats Paul Nichols and Gary Greenberg filed the lawsuit on May 15 in Supreme Court civil branch in New York County.
