The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York on Wednesday dedicated a courtroom in honor of U.S. District Judge I. Leo Glasser, who is celebrating his 41st year on the federal bench this year.

U.S. District Judge Raymond Dearie presented the courtroom plaque to Glasser, noting that when the late U.S. District Judge Jack Weinstein was told the courthouse’s ceremonial courtroom would be named in his honor, his first question was “What about Leo?”
