In a reversal of the lower court, a state appeals court has denied the attempt by a former global business director at Bloomberg L.P. to force the plaintiff in a sex-discrimination, alleged-rape suit to use her real name in the case.

Plaintiff “Margaret Doe” may continue to litigate under her pseudonym, ruled the Appellate Division, First Department court, in the plaintiff’s high-profile, $20 million suit lodged in 2016 against the media giant, Bloomberg L.P., and the former business director, Nicholas Ferris.
