Linda Lacewell, the state’s former top financial regulator who huddled with officials from ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration about sexual harassment allegations against the three-term executive, taught a class last year on government ethics at the New York University School of Law.

“Why do so many lawyers in public service fall short of public expectations?” reads a course description of Lacewell’s class, which she taught during the law school’s fall 2020 semester.
