Thermo Fisher Scientific, Microgenics Corp. and officers of the Fishkill Correctional Facility were hit with a civil rights class action Thursday in New York Southern District Court. The complaint was filed by the Law Offices of Frederick K. Brewington on behalf of plaintiffs claiming false imprisonment due to false positive drug test results. Attorneys have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 7:21-cv-06452, Taylor et al v. Microgenics Corporation et al.
