The New York Women’s Bar Association (NYWBA) held their annual dinner in the shadow of the World Trade Center, honoring, left to right, Judy Harris Kluger, executive director of Sanctuary for Families and former chief of policy and planning for the New York State Unified Court System; retired Justice of the Appellate Division, First Department, Betty Weinberg Ellerin, now senior counsel with Alston & Bird, who received the first Betty Weinberg Ellerin Award of Excellence; Virginia LoPreto, the principal of LoPreto + Levy, who was installed as 2019-2020 NYWBA president; and Justice Laura Drager, Supreme Court, Civil Branch, New York County, who was honored with the Joan L. Ellenbogen Award. The dinner was held on June 13 at Tribeca 360.
