Following five days of deliberations, a federal jury in Brooklyn has found Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin Guzmán Loera, best known as “El Chapo,” guilty of running a deadly, international drug cartel that prosecutors said made billions.

The jury of eight women and four men found Guzmán Loera guilty of all 10 counts against him, included engaging in a continuing criminal enterprise, four counts of international cocaine distribution, related conspiracy counts and other charges.
