The federal government’s anti-monopoly campaign against Big Tech is likely to go forward despite the collapse of two major lawsuits against Facebook earlier this week, attorneys and antitrust advocates said.

The rulings by a federal judge tossing out separate antitrust complaints against Facebook brought by the Federal Trade Commission and a group of more than 40 state attorneys general underscore the challenges regulators face in trying to rein in massive technology companies, and may encourage companies to more aggressively contest FTC enforcement, attorneys said.
