Douglas Emhoff, Kamala Harris’ husband, has found a soft landing spot in Washington for the early days of the Biden administration.

He has been named a “Distinguished Visitor From Practice” at Georgetown University Law Center and will teach a spring course called “Entertainment Law Disputes.” Emhoff will also be a fellow in the law school’s Institute for Technology Law and Policy and will be part of a new initiative focused on entertainment and media law that will incorporate speakers and other projects, Georgetown announced Thursday.
