The Oakland, California, courtroom of U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers was the clear center of the legal and tech worlds on Friday. Apple CEO Tim Cook for the first time during his tenure at the helm of the world’s most valuable brand took the witness stand as he was called to testify in Apple’s antitrust showdown with Fortnite maker Epic Games.

Since this was a bench trial, the judge, who is no stranger to big antitrust cases, got her turn at grilling Cook.
