Australian firms Clayton Utz and Gilbert + Tobin are advising opposite international firm Herbert Smith Freehills on the $6.2 billion takeover of casino and hotel owner Crown Resorts by investment company Blackstone.
Blackstone took ownership of Crown this month as it was delisted from the Australian stock market. Crown operates casinos and hotels in locations including Melbourne, Sydney and Perth and employs over 20,000 people.
