Freshfields Tops UK M&A Ranking as Megadeals Rejuvenate US Firms

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has topped both the European and U.K. mergers and acquisitions adviser rankings, maintaining strong positions on the tables for a second year in a row. Meanwhile, a number of U.S. firms enjoyed rejuvenated fortunes, according to the latest data from Refinitiv.

Freshfields completed a total of 186 deals in the European market in 2023, with an overall value of $193.92 billion.
