Practice Profile: Ellen Ching is a partner in the corporate department at Paul, Weiss, where she is a member of the mergers and acquisitions group. She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and other transactional matters. Ellen has represented private equity funds and publicly traded and privately held companies across a broad array of industries including hospitality, health care, shipping and consumer products.
Ellen is currently representing Virtu Financial in its approximately $1.4 billion all-cash acquisition of KCG Holdings, a landmark deal that will create one of the biggest companies in the high-frequency trading market.
