Q: What are some of your proudest recent achievements?
A: I am very proud of my entire team and the work it is doing to serve the people of the Bronx. I am particularly proud of the great work my team is doing in the South Bronx. I was fortunate to devise and implement an enhanced, community-based approach to the handling of acts of juvenile delinquency and to have the full support of the greatest organization in New York City—the Law Department. I have a talented team of attorneys dedicated to this endeavor and our goal is to bring more attention to local crime problems and learn solutions from the community. This approach has led to the more efficient and effective resolution of cases. Its strong emphasis on community relationships has led to better outcomes for the youth and public we serve.
