Harvard University was sued on Sept. 21 in Georgia Superior Court for Cobb County. The court case was brought by a pro se plaintiff. According to the court document, the plaintiff is suing Harvard for defamation because he believes it omitted the fact that Isoroku Yamamoto, who later became an admiral and helped lead Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, took classes there, making it inferior to other colleges. However, the Harvard Gazette, the university’s news website, mentions it. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 23107424, Hobbs Wade Donaldson, Jr. v. Harvard University.
